Liam's pov
The glossy magazine page blurred as a shadow fell across it. I glanced up to see a woman lingering outside the café window, absently adjusting her chest in a way that made her assets practically perform their own choreography. I fought the urge to roll my eyes.
*Great. Another one.*
I checked my watch, my expression remaining neutral even as irritation stirred beneath the surface. This wasn't my first rodeo with "accidental" encounters, especially since taking over as Alpha of the Northern Pines Pack. At thirty, I was the youngest Alpha in three generations, and apparently the most eligible bachelor in the werewolf community.
Lucky me.
I watched the woman push through the café door, scanning the interior with obvious purpose. The soft violin music floating through the speakers did nothing to ease the tension in my shoulders. I was here for one reason only—to meet a potential Luna candidate and get my mother off my back about "pack stability."
