Chapter 162
Third person's POV
Liam walked into the house without looking back, carrying two bags of groceries with ease. Allison tugged at her strapless wedding dress, genuinely hating how beautiful garments like this always seemed determined to slide down. As a hidden alpha, keeping up appearances was exhausting.
When Liam came downstairs, he caught Allison's adjusting movement and felt an amused smile tug at his lips. This woman was becoming increasingly bold. Was she truly oblivious to what she was doing, or clever enough to deliberately show herself off this way?
A strange restlessness grew inside Liam, originating from the woman before him. She constantly pushed his limits, testing his control. Liam suppressed his emotions—too many feelings would cloud his judgment, and an alpha couldn't afford that weakness.
"Allison," he called her name, and she looked up at him, her eyes holding that mysterious quality that made his wolf stir.
"I think we need a contract to mutually establish boundaries,"
