Chapter36:Not a normal evening

Lucy       The chaos has finally settled, and days have passed since the funerals for the family that lost their loved ones were held. This was a direct declaration of war and we need to fight back. We need to attack too, to put an end to this war once and for all.    Even as more days tick by Ace is still no show. It all made sense he started the rumors about me to cover up his wrongdoing. And while everyone seemed to be more focused on me he was able to do whatever he wished. The pack simply became his playground. The main question remained did he have any accomplices? Are the accomplices still in this pack watching us while they sent information out?    I feel there is a lot more going on and if we pay close attention we will be able to see it all.    It's evening and I am on that footpath that I have gotten to know like the back of my hand. I am focused as I go there, more like keeping my mind from thinking about a particular alpha. I smile when I realize that he still isn't mated.
