(Sarah's POV)
"This is all your fault!" Marcus’s voice echoed sharply down the dimly lit hallway, his rage palpable as he squared his shoulders in front of me.
I stepped back, startled but refusing to let him see my hesitation. "What are you talking about?" I shot back, my voice rising with frustration. "Grace is suffering. She needs me!"
"And our pack is crumbling because of your blind devotion to her!" Marcus barked, his finger jabbing toward me. His sharp eyes burned with fury. "You pushed Scarlett away at every turn, and now look where we are!"
"Don’t you dare pin that on me!" I snarled, pulling my arm free when he grabbed it. "You’re her father! Where were you when she needed you? When she waited for you to love her as much as you loved your position?"
Marcus’s jaw tightened, a vein pulsing at his temple. "Don’t twist this around," he snapped, his expression darkening. "You spoiled Grace, ignored every warning about her behavior, and look who’s paying for it now!"
