(Scarlett's POV) I woke up with a jolt, sensing someone else in my room. There, sitting on a small couch in the corner, was a she-wolf I hadn't seen before. She had cropped brown hair and watchful eyes that followed my every move. "Who are you?" I demanded, sitting up straight in bed. "And what are you doing in my room?" The woman's lip curled slightly. "Alpha Darian assigned me to keep an eye on you. After your little kitchen explosion stunt, he doesn't trust you alone." Great. A babysitter. I swung my legs off the bed and glared at her.
