BELLA'S POV
Devon looked at me with a complicated face. He stood up and returned to his seat. "Can I just tell you later?" He asked.
I picked up my cup and sipped my drink "I don't want to wait anymore. Can't I just hear it now? If you don't want to, then, there's no issue either. I will just go back to the Castle, pick up my son and leave the Castle for you. That's all," I replied as I stood up.
Devon panicked and stood up too. "Okay, I will tell you everything," He said.
I looked at his face and saw the conviction in it. He sat back and I did the same "Go on," I mumbled.
I had always wanted to know why he decided to send me away like that back then. The Devon I saw that day wasn't the usual Devon...
He was someone I spent my childhood with, he was my best friend and someone I sincerely loved and knew much enough for me to know that what he did that day wasn't normal. Something was wrong and I had always wanted to know.
