BELLA’S POV The closer we got to the Castle, the more I felt miserable and filled with shame. I found it hard to think straight as I held my seatbelt tight, staring at the road with wariness in my eyes. “Are you okay?” Beta Abel asked worriedly. I turned to look at him and sighed. “Yes, I’m okay.” I lied as I let in a deep breath and looked away, trying to calm myself. The drive continued and we soon got home. I came out of the car and bowed slightly “Thanks, Beta Abel. Thanks a lot.” I said before turning around to leave. I rushed to my room without bothering to look back and fortunately, Ariana was in front of my door, waiting for me. She rushed over to me the moment she saw me and the worried expression on her face calmed my heart a little. “Why did you rush away like that? What did Alpha Devon say to you?” She looked very worried as she held my arms. I forced a small smile on my face as I took her hand in my mind and led her to my room.
