Katelyn’s POV
Just 5 minutes into the night made everyone go crazy of our performances. The roar of the crowd was deafening, vibrating through my chest in waves of pure adrenaline.
The compliments, peoples’ smiling faces rekindled something in me as well. It was a long time ago I played the bass again.
And, the moment our set ended, the applause didn’t fade—it grew louder, chants of “Encore! Encore!” echoing off the walls of the club.
The lights above us cast a warm, golden glow over the stage, illuminating the sweat on my brow and the exhilaration in my heart.
I hadn’t felt this alive in years.
The band members exchanged glances, their faces flushed with the same mix of excitement and disbelief. Our eyes finally met, and without a word, I knew what they were asking.
