Greyson’s POV
I waited for him to answer the door. We had an understanding that so long as he didn’t make my job hard, I would give him as much privacy and peace as I could. Luckily for me, Gordon was a reasonable man. He never tried to escape or undermine the arrangement. He was stuck the same way I was and bound to Teagan and her daughter, Megan, for the time being.
I wasn’t stupid enough to think that Gordon hadn’t agreed to meet with Matt Wallber for some other purpose, but I didn’t push because it was unlikely to cause problems. Everyone knew that Teagan and Ben were friends from school. They were close to this day in a different way than Mordecai and Ben were.
Teagan wasn’t a big player in the cross-continent pack struggles.
