Chapter 34 False Alarm
Was asking Silas about it directly not an option at all?
I thought again about Olivia's suggestion. When she had first said it a few days ago, I'd been shocked. But now that I thought about it carefully, it didn't seem entirely unreasonable anymore.
"Aurora! Please explain your understanding of this formula!"
Well, I had spaced out again.
"Yes, sir." I stood up and answered under everyone's gaze.
Fortunately, this time my response was acceptable. At least I avoided another public scolding.
"Have you decided?" Olivia texted.
"Yes. I'm going to see him tomorrow," I replied.
With my backpack slung over one shoulder, I walked out into the hallway while texting Olivia.
Olivia texted back, "I want to know what happens next! Aurora, I really think you two are perfect together! Go get him, okay?"
I typed, "Maybe. I don't know yet."
I was so focused on replying that I didn't notice several people blocking my path.
"Aurora." Someone called my name.
