Silas' POV "He's terrible when it comes to relationships, but I think he's actually a decent leader. Maybe he's starting to realize his mistakes and trying to correct them. What do you think, Silas?" Aurora's cheerful voice kept ringing in my ears. All she talked about was Damian. That name occupied her mind. She was utterly unconcerned with the fact that she was currently holding another man in her arms. I felt an intense wave of irritation surge within me. It was so strong that I nearly told her outright that the Alpha she was singing her high praises for was still the same man who would stop at nothing for his own benefit. A change of heart? Concerned about the pack's future? How very laughable. Damian was being ruthless only because he feared Nicole might keep dealing with the monster hunters. Sooner or later, she might uncover the secret that he himself, the Alpha, had once colluded with them as well. Yet, the clueless Aurora thought that Damian had turned over a new leaf.
