Emma, trapped on the rooftop with Bella's erratic behavior escalating, knew that arguing with a cornered mind was a perilous game. "You think threats will make me hesitate?" Bella's voice, laced with a chilling mix of fury and despair, cut through the silence. Her gaze, wild and unpredictable, locked onto Emma with unsettling intensity.
Emma, maintaining a semblance of calm, sought to navigate the treacherous waters of Bella's paranoia. "Bella, this isn't about threats or competition. It's about making choices that don't lead us to regret. Alex's feelings or my actions aren't here to haunt you. We're all trapped by past decisions, but it doesn't mean we can't choose a different path now."
