The fortress hummed with a different kind of energy after the tribunal. Tension still lingered in the corners, like cobwebs that refused to be swept away, but something had shifted. I could feel it in the way warriors trained with more purpose, how the council spoke with more conviction. Like they had seen me fall—and still chose to follow me.
I sat alone in the strategy room, candlelight flickering across the map of our territories. Pins marked allied packs, neutral zones, and areas now leaning toward Cassian. The Hollowreach sigil had been moved into enemy territory.
My hand hovered over another marker.
