Genevieve's POV
I stared back into his piercing green orbs. It looked stormy and dangerous. But the sun reflecting through them made them appear brighter. It felt like I was staring back into fresh green grass that was wet due to the morning dew. He was trying to intimidate me and make me feel scared but I wasn't. I wasn't scared for one minute. I would admit, I was surprised when I saw how he looked and fought when he was angry mainly because I had never seen him like that before. He was always indifferent. Instead of feeling scared of him, I thought about how he must be feeling underneath this hard exterior of his.
