Author's POV "You dare touch me? My brother won't let you get away with this! You worthless bitch! You deserve to be abandoned, and you'll regret this!" Sophie Smith shrieked, her voice rising to a hysterical pitch. The more Sophie screamed, the more Victoria Lancaster's resolve hardened. Her wolf, Nora, growled with satisfaction beneath her skin.
