Victoria's POV
About thirty minutes later, Kane entered my office with a grim expression.
"Victoria, Marcia Cross is causing a scene downstairs. The internet is ablaze with your name trending everywhere. This could be damaging for us."
I leaned back in my chair, my wolf Nora stirring restlessly within me. "Let her come," I said, my voice steady. "If she's so desperate to meet me, I'll give her exactly what she wants."
I wasn't afraid. I wasn't hiding. If these people had no shame, I certainly didn't need to extend them any courtesy.
