MADELINE'S POV  I was summoned to Alpha Konan's study. This time, I had no idea what to expect.  I walked down the corridor leading to his study with my heart pounding in my chest. The heavy door creaked open as I entered the grand study. Alpha Konan sat behind his desk—unflinched.  "Which do you want to hear first, Madeline? The good news or the bad news?" he asked, with a tone of menace.  I was confused.
