After dropping Jenna off, Curtis stepped out of the car to walk her to the gates. Jenna took a few steps ahead, then paused. She turned back slowly and wrapped her arms around his waist. "Curtis, I know those ten-plus years with Marceline meant a lot to you. But all she does now is bring you nothing but trouble. Dominic can't stand her. The Wolfes despise her. You need to make a decision soon." She didn't say she was waiting for him. Every word came wrapped in concern for his sake. Curtis patted her back lightly.
