#Chapter 29- Poaching

Fiona POV Throughout the party, I make sure to keep an eye on Andy so I can dodge any advances he makes. He’s tried twice already to talk to me, but I keep finding ways to get away from him. The first time, I went to the bathroom for a few minutes and the second, I started talking to Chloe. He’s clearly stupid enough to try to seduce me while in the same room with Chloe, but he’s not dumb enough to do it with her standing next to me. Currently, he’s talking to Mr. and Mrs. Rane on the other side of the room. I’ve noticed that those two along with the rest of the group standing with them have had the least amount of interaction with Nolan’s family. I try to remember why, but all I know is that they’re from a rival company. I’m not sure why Andy is interested in talking with them, but I’m sure it’s not for anything good. He has that sneaky glint in his eye that he gets when he’s planning something. “Ms. Davis,” someone calls, pulling my attention away from Andy. “Yes?”
