Chapter 295: The Dawn of Ceremony
**Thelma Zane’s Perspective**
**August 31st, 4 a.m.**
Kara’s insistent voice dragged me from the depths of sleep. My hair, an unkempt mess, resembled a bird’s nest, and my sluggish movements only irritated her more.
“Your beautician will be here in fifteen minutes,” Kara announced as she nudged me toward the bathroom. “Your stylist will start in an hour. If you want breakfast, you’ll need to hurry.”
It wasn’t often I woke up this early, but today was no ordinary day. The palace was already abuzz with activity, each member of the staff engrossed in their assigned tasks. Judging by the flurry of movement outside my room, I was the last to rise.
In the living room, my bridesmaids were already dressed in their elegant gowns. As well as standing by my side during the ceremony, they would act as my concierges, guiding me through the day’s formalities.
