**Dorothy’s POV**
Could it be that the force obstructing my investigation wasn’t my father after all? If not him, then who?
Could it be... the Elf King?
Was he still conscious, even in his slumber?
I tried calling out to him, hoping for any response, no matter how faint. But no voice answered me. All I saw were a few soft orbs of green light drifting toward me. They circled briefly before retreating with some of the locked information, as if protecting it from my prying eyes.
It became clear that the Elf King retained some semblance of consciousness. While too weak to respond directly, his instincts seemed to guard certain truths from being unveiled. Despite the lack of communication, this revelation was a ray of hope. It meant that the dark forces battling him hadn’t fully claimed victory. The stalemate endured, and that, in itself, was a small triumph.
