Chapter 1009 Poisoned
Who could deny Sebastian what he had set his mind upon?
The man rested his forehead against Tamara’s and chuckled lowly, “I’m surprised you’re shy about this.”
Tamara’s face flushed even brighter. “Stop it, Sebastian. Please, let’s just go back.”
Her voice was soft and pleading. Sebastian felt his heart melting at her voice.
How could he hold back any longer?
He kissed her again and successfully swallowed whatever words she had left.
Lucky for them, the tree was big enough to shield them from public eyes.
The temperature rose, and their breath mixed together. Tamara tilted her head up and moaned. In the next second, her eyes widened, and she shoved Sebastian away.
“Wait…Wait!” cried Tamara in alarm.
Sebastian observed her expression and looked up as well. He saw a green snake dangling a few feet away from them.
The snake’s color blended well with the leaves on the tree. It was preparing to attack them!
Sebastian’s face fell. He gently placed her back onto the ground to create some distance between Tamara and the snake.
“Let’s go.” Sebastian kept a close eye on the snake and quickly pulled her away.
Suddenly, the snake lunged at them!
Tamara’s heart dropped. She gripped tightly onto Sebastian’s hand, and the two of them ran out from the forest.
They only stopped when they felt the warm sunlight against their skin.
“Are you okay?” Tamara turned to Sebastian worriedly.
Sebastian had a weird look on his face, but it quickly disappeared when Tamara turned to him.
“I’m fine,” grunted Sebastian.
Tamara breathed a sigh of relief. “It’s not safe here. Let’s head back.”
Sebastian nodded and grabbed Tamara’s hand. The couple returned to the villa together.
However, on their way back, Sebastian suddenly stopped in his tracks.
“What’s wrong?” Tamara was confused. She looked up only to see how pale Sebastian grew. His forehead was coated in a layer of sweat. Tamara’s heart sank. She quickly checked his pulse. Soon, she paled too.
“Why didn’t you tell me the snake bit you?” Tamara’s heart was pounding.
Sebastian furrowed his brows. “I didn’t feel any pain. I only knew the snake fell on top of me before I quickly threw it aside.”
Tamara helped him back to the villa. “We have to hurry back. You’re poisoned. I have to get the poison out.”
However, it wouldn’t be an easy task.
Tamara composed herself and brought Sebastian back to the villa. She laid him on the bed and dug through her bag.
She was glad she had brought her acupuncture needles with her. She took the needles out from her bag and started sticking them into Sebastian.
Sebastian’s brows were knitted tightly together. He was sweating even more now. It was clear he was going through a lot of pain.
Tamara forced herself to stay calm. There was no room for mistake.
She skillfully stuck the needles into the right place and focused her eyes on Sebastian. “Do you feel any better?”
Sebastian merely grunted in reply.
Tamara gave him a nervous look. After 15 minutes, Tamara took all the needles from Sebastian’s body and started sanitizing them.
When she was done, she spun around and noticed Sebastian had fallen unconscious.
Tamara paused for a moment, then puckered her lips as she prepared to perform the most critical part of the procedure. After Tamara had employed acupuncture on Sebastian, all the poison inside of him had been forced into a specific place, and the way to flush out the poison was…
Tamara went to the bedside and leaned down to peck the man’s forehead. “You’ll be fine, Sebastian.”
