Chapter 1010 Felt Betrayed
Sebastian’s breathing grew heavy. He felt like his body was on fire.
Tamara slowly stripped herself bare and leaned down…
The only way to flush out the poison was by…working it off.
Tamara was a little amused by the situation. She had been reluctant to fuck Sebastian after the many rounds they had gone through, yet here she was, willingly walking into the lion’s den.
She mused, “Whatever. Saving Sebastian comes first.”
The sun gradually descended below the horizon as the clock continued to tick. Tamara huffed and sighed, and her hair fluttered behind her.
Sometime later.
When Sebastian woke up, he thought he was being visited by a goddess.
His breathing grew heavy, and he gripped the woman’s waist.
Tamara paused. She wasn’t expecting him to wake up so soon. If it were anyone else, they would only regain consciousness after the poison was fully out of their system.
She had to admit Sebastian’s physicality was something else!
Sebastian’s gaze darkened, and he smirked deviously. “How bold of you, Tammy.”
Tamara’s cheeks were as red as a tomato. “I’m so tired. Just a little bit more…”
“Leave the rest to me.” Sebastian sat up and gently kissed Tamara’s cheeks. He suddenly flipped her over and went to town.
…
Night fell.
Tamara was deep in her sleep. Sebastian carried her to the bathroom and showered her before tucking her in bed. He gently kissed her forehead.
Tamara moaned and twisted away from him.
Sebastian chuckled. He got up and left the room.
Tamara must be exhausted. Sebastian wanted to make her some food.
Tamara was asleep for a long time. She only woke up when her stomach started growling. She climbed out of bed tiredly.
“Sebastian…” whined Tamara.
“I’m here,” came Sebastian’s voice. He had just come in from the outside.
Tamara went over to him and slumped against him. “Where did you go?”
Sebastian hugged her close and guided her to the dining room. He gently placed Tamara onto a chair. “I got the snake.”
Tamara’s drowsiness immediately washed away. She widened her eyes at him. “Why did you go back out to catch the snake?”
“The snake bit me, so it must pay for its crime,” huffed Sebastian arrogantly.
Tamara felt speechless.
“Where’s the snake?” asked Tamara.
“In the can outside. Go and have some food first. I’ll bring you to see it when you’re done.” Sebastian brought some food out from the kitchen.
Tamara nodded, saying, “Alright.”
After she was done, Tamara took a seat on the couch. Sebastian brought in the can. There was a green snake inside it.
The snake wasn’t as big as Tamara thought. It was still alive in the can and would occasionally dart its tongue out at her.
Tamara observed the snake. “I think I can use it to make some medicine.”
Sebastian cocked a brow. “Then let’s do it.”
Tamara shook her head and frowned. “But we’ll be leaving tomorrow. We can’t possibly bring it back with us.”
Sebastian wrapped an arm around her. “Let’s send it back home. We’ll deal with it after the honeymoon.”
Tamara agreed, “That’s a good idea.”
She also wanted her revenge.
She would never forgive the snake for hurting her man.
The snake continued to stare at them.
It felt a little betrayed.
…
Tamara and Sebastian sat in the courtyard and admired the stars. Tamara suddenly piped up, “I’m starting to miss Thomas, Caleb, and Melly.”
Sebastian turned his gaze to her. “Do you regret not bringing them along?”
