She was not able to suppress her emotions and urges this time. She rushed up ahead. She had purposely taken note of the floor they had stopped on. When she got out of the elevator, she saw that there were two units on the same floor. She didn’t know which one they went in. As such, she decided to lean against the wall in between the two units and wait. Eventually, one of the doors opened, and Kayla walked out wearing a man’s shirt. She was carrying some garbage bags. Upon reaching the stairway, she dumped the garbage into a huge dumpster. Margot glared at her. Kayla was really pretty. There was something pure and angelic about her. However, Margot knew that if Kayla was really as pure as she looked, she wouldn’t have walked out wearing a man’s shirt. As if sensing her glare, Kayla looked up. “Are you…Margot Zimmerman? What are you doing here?” Kayla looked at her curiously. Margot ignored her. Instead, she barged into her unit. “Margot, what are you doing?” Kayla frowned, trailing behind. “I know you’ve always been rude, but you can’t just barge into other people’s houses like this! It’s really impolite!” Margot continued to ignore her. She surveyed the entire unit and found that Benjamin was nowhere in sight. Only then did the tension leave her face. She turned back and glared at Kayla’s angry face. “Sorry, when I saw what you were wearing, I thought you were sleeping with someone. My mistake.” With that, Margot turned and left. Even though Benjamin wasn’t in Kayla’s room, it was a fact that the woman had been by his side. Margot was already kind enough not to smack her in the face. She left Kayla’s place without saying much. Kayla’s expression darkened significantly. “Margot Zimmerman, I’ve never done anything to offend you. Why are you doing this?” Margot met her gaze and smiled. “Well, I suppose I’ve offended you now, haven’t I?” “You!” Kayla’s chest heaved from anger, and her innocent face was flushed bright red. The woman was honestly an eyesore. At this moment, someone walked out of the unit next door, and the man’s tall frame was familiar. Margot blinked. “Benjamin Inkling, you’re pretty good at hiding, huh?” She walked up to Benjamin and slapped him across the face. With red eyes, she asked, “Did you spend the last two years with her?” She pointed at Kayla. To be honest, Margot did not want to act like a crazed woman out to catch her husband cheating. However, she couldn’t hold her emotions in anymore. Benjamin was her husband! They had a marriage certificate and everything! She could even remember the vows Benjamin had made when they got married. He promised to protect her forever and to love her and her alone. But what happened after that? He left Margot two years ago without saying anything, and she had been looking for him for two whole years! Yet it appeared that the bastard had spent that time with his old lover. Did Margot mean nothing to him? Did he think that she was nothing but a huge joke? The more she thought about it, the more the tears began to well up. However, she was determined not to cry. She glared at the man before her, hoping to glare a hole through his body. However, what he said next made Margot’s eyes widen. Benjamin said, “Margot, let’s get divorced.” “What did you just say?” Margot thought she was hallucinating. She grabbed Benjamin by the collar and yelled, “Benjamin Inkling, I dare you to say that again.” Benjamin was wearing a tailored suit. Because of her actions, his collar ended up flipping over. No hint of emotion was revealed on the man’s handsome, charming face. “Let’s get divorced.” Margot suddenly lost her ability to speak at that moment. Faced with the cold, unfeeling Benjamin, she didn’t know what to say.
