Chapter 564 Don’t Cry, Tammy
Tamara turned back subconsciously, but the tall, handsome man had already backed her into a corner of the elevator.
“Sebastian Lynch, what do you think you’re doing?”
Tamara’s clear eyes shone with displeasure. Her delicate face seemed to tense up as she reached out to push him away,
However, the man’s body was too sturdy. He resembled an unmovable mountain, and it was impossible for her to push him away.
Sebastian propped one hand against the elevator panel and inched his handsome, charming face closer to her. He stared at Tamara’s eyebrows with dark eyes, then asked in a hoarse voice, “Who was in the room with you?”
Tamara glared at him angrily. “It’s none of your business!”
Sebastian took a deep breath. “That’s completely false. I’m your husband.”
Tamara smirked at him mockingly. “Mr. Custry, I’d like to remind you that you’re my ex-husband. We got divorced four years ago. Your dear mother was the one who delivered the divorce papers to me, after all.”
As she spoke, all the grievance and sadness she repressed started to pour out of her. Her nose prickled painfully, but she tried her best to maintain her composure.
She was determined not to cry!
Four years had passed, after all. Why cry after so long?
Sebastian’s cold expression on his handsome face started to fall away. He grabbed her slender, delicate hand and said, “Tammy, I’m really sorry.”
His deep voice sounded hoarse. Sebastian had always been proud, yet he was willing to apologize to Tamara this time.
Tamara wanted to pull her hand back, but Sebastian merely tightened his grip. She couldn’t get out of it no matter how hard she tried.
A look of disdain appeared on her delicate face, and her eyes seemed to be growing teary. “Sebastian Lynch, as if I would forgive you! How dare you leave me without a word and throw a divorce agreement at me just like that? It’s been four whole years since you last sought me out. So what if you showed up eventually? It’s too late! I’m not obligated to forgive you…”
Tamara ranted, looking displeased. However, a crisp, refreshing scent suddenly invaded her senses. She was still complaining just a moment before when cool lips pressed against her lips.
Tamara’s eyes widened instantly. Her porcelain complexion suddenly flushed red. She began to struggle desperately and push the man away.
However, the man’s breathing grew hot. The kiss was gentle, and upon further reflection, it felt sincere. He kissed her as if she was the most precious thing in the world.
Tamara stopped struggling after a short while.
Even though four years had passed, she was still mesmerized by his kisses.
She felt her nose prickle painfully, causing her to shut her eyes. She ended up kissing him back.
When Sebastian felt Tamara respond, he threw caution out the window and began to kiss with roaring passion. Tamara was almost unable to keep up with him.
Suddenly, he tasted something salty seep into his mouth.
This caused Sebastian to freeze. He hurriedly pulled away from Tamara and saw that she had tears streaming down her face.
“Don’t cry, Tammy.”
Sebastian wiped her tears away in a panic. He couldn’t bear to see her in tears. He found it difficult to breathe as he watched.
It would’ve been better if Sebastian hadn’t tried to comfort her. Upon hearing him try, Tamara felt herself break down.
She pushed him away.
“Sebastian Lynch, you’re such a bully!”
After saying that, she reached to press the button to open the elevator doors. Just as the doors opened, they saw a few youngsters waiting to get inside.
Tamara rushed out, causing the youngsters to stare after her in shock.
Sebastian ran after her.
After going outside and feeling the cold breeze hit her, Tamara felt the sorrow and pain in her heart start to ease a little.
She was reminded that she had a task in hand.
She looked around and eyed the dark corner nearby. Then, she waved a hand, signaling for the two bodyguards hidden in the shadows to come over.
“Miss Moore, what are your instructions?”
