After Tamara relayed them some simple instructions, the bodyguards nodded, then made their way into the club. Sebastian managed to catch up to her after that. Tamara turned around and was about to leave when the two met each other’s gaze. “Tammy, I…” Sebastian meant to say something but was interrupted by the charming smile on Tamara’s face. “It was just a little kiss. Mr. Custry, you didn’t mind it, did you?” Hearing that, Sebastian froze. “Tammy, what are you talking about?” Tamara answered in a flat tone, “It was just a kiss. I hope you won’t take it to heart. Just think of it as a…spur of the moment thing. You’re a handsome man, after all, and I’m rather beautiful. It’s only natural for us to kiss out of impulse. I don’t think it’s a big deal.” With that, she walked past him and back into the club. Sebastian was rendered speechless. His handsome face immediately darkened. Tamara had said that they had shared a measly kiss and didn’t want to make it a big deal. Did this mean that kissing him back had been a spur-of-the-moment decision? An unknown emotion stirred in his heart. He felt as if he had just been played, yet the person who had played him was someone he desperately loved. He couldn’t bear to yell at her. What should he do? All he could do was coax her to the best of his abilities. … When Tamara returned to the room, the man from before had disappeared. Margot was still massaging her neck, looking furious. “Joanne Custry is such a piece of shit! Why does she seem to pop up everywhere?” Tamara went to help massage Margot’s neck. “From this day onward, she’ll hopefully be nowhere near us for the foreseeable future.” Margot sneered. “I hope she feels guilty enough to off herself for everything she’s done.” Tamara smiled, but it did not seem to reach her eyes. She could not help but be reminded of Sebastian. When she thought about the dark expression on his face when she walked past him, she let out a loud laugh. Then, she couldn’t help but think that she might’ve angered the man. She had clearly provoked him, after all. Margot sensed that Tamara’s thoughts were elsewhere. She turned to look at her friend and saw that there was a smile in Tamara’s eyes, and she was sporting a blush on her face. “My my, what have you been up to? Did you bump into a handsome man while you were out just now? Why do you look so blissed out all of a sudden?” Hearing that, Tamara snapped back to her senses, then massaged Margot’s neck harder. “Ouch, it hurts!” Margot retracted her gaze and did not dare to say anything more. A moment later, Tamara pulled her hand back. After stretching her neck for a moment, Margot found that her neck no longer hurt. She hugged Tamara’s arm and said, “I’m sorry for speaking out of turn just now, but your face is really telling. So, tell me. Who did you bump into just now?” Tamara’s clear eyes twinkled. “Sebastian.” Hearing that, Margot’s eyes widened. She instantly realized why Tamara looked so blissed out. “Be honest with me. Are you planning to take him back?” Margot asked. Tamara eyed her friend warily. “You’re not still acting as his spy, are you?” Margot replied right away, “I was just asking out of curiosity. I swear that I’ll never do anything like that ever again!” Then, she took out her phone hurriedly. “Here, I’ll send you some of the photos I took in secret.” Tamara’s phone buzzed from the notifications right away. She took out her phone and looked through the photos. Those photos seemed familiar to her, and her cheeks instantly turned red the longer she looked at them. The photos were taken on the plane. She and Sebastian were sitting next to each other. In one of the photos, she was clearly asleep. Sebastian had removed his mask and was gazing at her affectionately. In the next one, he leaned over and kissed her. Tamara flushed even redder at that. Margot smiled meaningfully at her. “I honestly didn’t expect Sebastian to have such a cautious and loving side to him. The way he was staring at you…Gosh, I’m getting goosebumps just thinking about it.”
