Chapter 574 Passed Out From Crying
“I’m sorry…”
Tamara could no longer control her emotions. She kept hitting Anthony as she yelled, “Anthony Night, you’re fucking despicable! You were going to stop him from telling me the truth! You were never going to come clean with me about what you did, were you? Were you planning to hide the truth from me forever? Did you honestly think that hiding the truth from me would make it so that what you did years ago never happened? It’s been four long years, Anthony. I’ve carried the guilt of losing my baby for four whole years. Sometimes, I even wished that the one who died on the operating table was me! I can’t believe you were planning to hide the truth from me forever. How could you do this? How can you be like this?”
“Tammy, don’t get too worked up! You need to mind your health.” Jonathan rushed over.
Tamara’s emotions were going haywire. She could feel herself losing it.
Jonathan ushered her back into the car. Tamara couldn’t stop mumbling about being betrayed. It was clear that Anthony’s actions had affected her greatly.
Jonathan glanced over at Thomas. “We’re going to head home now. Take good care of Mommy, got it?”
Thomas nodded. “Don’t worry, Uncle Jon. I’ll do my best.”
Jonathan nodded, then shut the car door. Then, he signaled for the driver to start the car.
After that, Jonathan turned toward Elijah. “How dare you lecture Anthony on his wrongdoings? Did you forget that you’re the main instigator of this entire shitshow?”
Elijah’s face paled. His lips trembled, and he found that he didn’t have anything to say.
His revenge plan hadn’t started four years ago, after all. It had started a lot earlier than that.
Furthermore, there was one other thing…
At this moment, he suddenly understood how Anthony felt.
Elijah did not have the guts to admit to it until now.
“Leave Anthony to me. The rest of you can fuck off,” Jonathan said coldly.
Elijah had never respected Jonathan. However, he now felt cowed by the man. He did not know how to refute, nor was he worthy of doing so.
Elijah nodded, then waved a hand. The Morrison family’s bodyguards left Anthony for the Moore family’s bodyguards to deal with.
Jonathan left the suburban villa with Anthony in tow.
…
Tamara kept sobbing in the car. She couldn’t stop herself from feeling sadness and anger. She wouldn’t stop crying and ended up passing out.
When she next woke up, she found herself in a hospital.
“Mommy, you’re awake!”
She heard Melanie’s soft voice in her ears, and it sounded as if she had been crying.
Tamara turned toward her and found that her daughter’s big eyes were swollen from crying as she stared at her.
“Mommy’s fine. Don’t worry, Melly.”
Melanie nodded. “As long as you’re fine, I won’t worry.”
“Mommy.”
Thomas grabbed Tamara’s other hand. He had witnessed her pass out from all the crying. He had panicked for a moment, but after calming down, he managed to give his uncle a call.
The driver ended up sending Tamara and him to the hospital.
Tamara patted Thomas’ head. “Mommy’s fine.”
In her peripheral vision, she noticed an identical face laced with worry, staring at her. Tamara blinked her eyes. “Caleb, you’re here too?”
Caleb nodded. “Mommy, you just fainted. You don’t seem to have any other health problems. You can get discharged once you’ve gotten enough rest.”
Hearing that, Tamara was taken aback.
Was Caleb trying to comfort her?
“Darling, when did you get so caring? I’m sure you’ll take great care of your girlfriend in the future,” Tamara couldn’t help but praise.
Caleb replied seriously, “I don’t want a girlfriend. All I need is Mommy.”
Tamara’s heart warmed at that. She stared at her three adorable children and felt the sorrow in her heart dissipate.
She was glad that her kids were still by her side. She could still make up for lost time.
“Your mommy’s mine.”
At this moment, a deep voice laced with displeasure rang out.
