《Author's POV》 ▪︎Back at the Pack's castle▪︎ "Avery? What are you doing here?" Albert was beyond surprised to see Avery standing in front of him. He had been preparing for the ball that's to happen that evening when Landon came in to tell him that someone from the royal family is here to see him. He wasn't told about this beforehand so he thought it must be urgent and concerning Elder Dalton. So, fearing the old leech had managed to escape, he rushed to his office only to find Avery instead. "We need to talk! Where's Jenny?" She asked, looking behind him to see if she would come in too but saw just Landon, the one she had met before. "She's preparing for the ball too so she can't be here with me as per the pack's tradition." Albert explained. The urgent look in her eyes, he couldn't help but notice it. Something must be up for Avery to come down here herself instead of just reaching out to them through phonecalls or text messages. Is the issue related to Jenny? Is something up with her
