《Author's POV》 About three hours ago, days after Albert had watched Jenny leave with their hearts shattered into tiny pieces and before Avery's wedding ceremony began. Albert had thought that was the best decision for her, letting her out of his life so she didn't have to suffer because of him but it was quite obvious they were both suffering because of that one decision. He couldn't get her out of his mind even for a second. Worse, every inch of the castle was just a reminder of the first two days she was there with him. Their profound happiness and joy of finally being together before it was ruined by the witch. At some point, he started to see her faces in places she shouldn't be, missing her warmth on the now cold bed and it always keeps him awake for the whole night. Even after all these, he still swallowed up his pain and refused to reach out to her. He feared she might hate him for not being straightforward and despite how much it hurts, he doesn't want his presence in her life
