●Avery's POV●
"Avery.. have you seen what's spreading online?" Came Savannah’s text on the group chat.
I was currently with my phone, just enjoying some peaceful and comedic time with my friends.
Yesterday, after my meeting with Madison, I went straight home. Even though I crossed paths with Benjamin at the entrance of the hospital, I walked past him like I didn't see him while ignoring his calls.
After I was finally alone at the penthouse, I couldn't help but blame myself. I should have known I wasn't wanted. They always called me at times like this but still end up pushing me to a corner whenever their daughter was around.
I couldn't help but feel like whenever I try to move away, they keep pulling me back as if trying to remind me that I wouldn't last without them.
