●Avery's POV● I stared out the large window in my room, my mind on nothing but the nightmare I had last night. I just couldn't stop thinking about it. It scared me so much that I couldn't go back to sleep. I was afraid that anytime I closed my eyes, the scene would play again and what might happen next would be far worse than the one in my dream. I thought I had finally gone past the stage of having bone chilling nightmares. First, it was Riley. Now, it's Liam. Can't I just live in peace? Can't I close my eyes peacefully and not have to dream about them? If Marcus wasn't by my side last night, I don't know how I would have coped with the situation. Even now, I still walk with fear, fear that the door would suddenly push open and Liam would come back to finish me up. Suddenly, the door to my room was pushed open.
