I saw Max try to summon his wolf, only to be stopped by Elara. "You can't do that. They placed restrictions here. You're not her match, either. Go talk to the management at Kanam, quick!"

Susan, who'd been sitting in the corner, scuttled out of the room as swiftly as a hare before I could stop her. 
I had no choice but to lock the door again. I turned back to face the three other people in the room. There was a genuine smile on my face for the first time in days.
