Elena’s POV The street was almost too quiet for somewhere so expensive. I located the place according to Nova’s direction, my heart thumping in my chest. At the very top of the tallest building, I saw a private club only for exclusive members. The doorman looked me over as I handed him Nova's card. “Are you sure about this? Not exactly a place for… someone like you,” he said, raising an eyebrow. I shrugged, trying to hide my nerves. “I’m here to see Alpha Eric,” I said, forcing my voice to sound steady.
