Someone had written about all my experiences in a novel, spreading it through the streets and alleys.
By the day of my execution, no objects were thrown at me on the road. The streets were still lined with people, countless figures, yet eerily quiet.
As I was forced onto the execution platform, someone shouted, "May you have a good family in your next life!"
I nodded towards the crowd and raised my voice in response: "Thank you for your blessing."
These words were like a stone dropped into a still lake, stirring not ripples, but a wave of suppressed sobs.
I curved my lips slightly upwards, waiting for the executioner's sharp silver blade to fall.
This absurd life was finally, completely, coming to an end.
