Chapter 81 The Biased Brother
Raine frowned.
"Nancy, did you choose fashion just because Raine chose it? Do you even know how to design clothes? Stop copying her!" Fergus roared. He then turned to Martha. "Grandma, this isn't right, is it?"
"Why not?" Martha countered. "I think it's exactly how it should be. A little competition will make everyone work harder. Alright, now. Everyone has made their choice. What about you, Irene?"
Irene hadn't expected to be singled out like this. She lifted her head, catching the look of disdain from both her father and Susan.
"Mom, let's just ignore Irene. She's not really a Lidell anyway," Edward said.
Martha's gaze landed squarely on Irene. After a pause, she said, "She's still one of the Lidells. You'd better treat her properly, or outsiders will think we're a joke."
Edward flashed an awkward smile. "Sure, Mom."
