Chapter 13. Part 2.
I closed my eyes and started thinking of the ocean, the waves cascading onto the rocks and the sun beaming down on the surface. The wind was blowing around me causing my hair to dance around and the peaceful silence was much welcomed. When I opened my eyes, the throbbing had subsided and the heat was gone. I looked to my side and saw Samuel still looking out the window.
My heart was still beating hard in my chest but the worse of it was gone.
I turned and could once again focus on the beautiful landscape we were driving past. As the car continued driving, we entered a narrow road in the woods and we continued on this path for another hour. I could see wolves running around in the woods, playing and fighting each other, everyone seemed so free.
This territory was bigger than anything I had ever seen or heard of. The woods were miles and miles ahead and only after another hour did we exit and a beautiful lake came into view. I couldn’t help the gasp that escaped when I saw the deer runn
