Oliver's evidence succeeded in undermining some of the claims I had presented.
The proof my lawyer uncovered—showing him secretly meeting Charlotte and transferring our shared assets to her—was subtly dismissed by Oliver's legal team.
They offered believable excuses for the money transfers, denying any wrongdoing or asset concealment.
"Charlotte is my childhood friend. After her family faced tough times, I was the only one who truly stood by her. What's wrong with giving her a few gifts?"
Oliver brushed the issue aside like it was nothing but dust on his sleeve.
