Chapter sixty-four:
TALON’s POV
“This case is closed.” Ariel announced before rising up.
“No, no, no. Gaius say something!” Dalton yelled, but Gaius just stood with his head bowed not uttering a word.
Days before, I had perceived that this was what Dalton was going to do so I planned ahead of him. I got Gaius healed, and treated much to his surprise. He had thought that I would kill him, or cause him for torture. He asked me the reason for.my sudden changed of heart, and I told him to play along.
Dimitri had his doubts that Gaius might betray us when the time comes, and side with his alpha. But I had a lot planned in stock for him if he dared to play smart. Today, for his own good, he played along. I was going to keep him in my pack for sometime. As for Dalton, he obviously wasn't scared that I would expose his use of the dark magic, because Ahoy could bend by the rules.
