Chapter 34 – Son-in-law

Rosalie's POV She noticed Zeila's father waiting for them as soon as they got out of the Jet. He turned to face her after giving Gabriel a respectful greeting. "I apologize for breaking the awful news to you, Rosa." He told her, "The doctors are trying their best and are not taking any chances with his health, even though he is in better condition than he was yesterday. The Alpha is putting in far too much work. He needs to relax right now. It's fortunate that your uncle agreed to temporarily assume leadership of the pack." She nodded; her father's brother had always been supportive and had agreed earlier on, that his oldest son would succeed her father. It was time for her Dad to retire now that she and Kristine were mated. She desired for her kids to have a second grandfather that they could spend time with during the breaks from school. She wanted her family to be actively involved in her pup's life because they were equally as essential as Gabriel's. They exchanged pleasantries an
