Cold breeze found its way into my body, chilling my spine as my gaze swept across the field.
Emptiness.
Emptiness was all I saw as I was transfixed in a spot, glancing around severally as if expecting someone in this strange place.
It was large, a vast amount of space without anyone, except me.
It was covered in darkness that even with my heightened vision, I could barely make out anything.
It was scary. As much as I tried to hide my fears, they didn't hesitate to give me out.
My fear was everywhere, I could sniff it.
It was quiet, only my harsh breathing could be heard.
It was void, without form. It was in a state of desolation.
Like my heart. Dark and empty.
Why was I here?
