Chapter 14. Feel Something. Lilian. I pushed past the Alpha King on my way out, and his brows furrowed in a frown. “Where do you think you're going? Have you been dismissed by your Alpha?” His voice was thick as he gave me a disdainful stare. “The Alpha and Beta are already dead.” I sighed out tiredly, there was no strength left in me anymore. His eyes flew open in surprise as he pushed me to the side and rushed into the office. “What did you do, Lilian?” Thankfully, I didn't have to answer the question as the pack warriors whispered to him what had conspired a few moments ago. “Lily, there you are.” I looked up to find Daemon a few steps away from me. His black shirt stuck to his annoyingly sexy body like a second skin. “Yes, here I am.” I gave him a smile that did not reach my eyes before walking past him. “You shouldn't even be here, but with your soon-to-be fiancée, don't you think?”  When I did not hear him reply, I turned and found him observing the scene.  “What happened here?”
