I was gaining a little more control of my wolf now, but I was still making conversations through her mind and seeing things through her eyes. It was like being stuck in limbo without being able to do anything for yourself.
“How would that even happen?” My wolf, Laila asked. “How would we tear each other apart when we have no desire to do so?”
Ayana gave Laila a knowing before her lips curled into a small smirk. “You'll know when the time comes, Laila. I wonder how that's going to happen too, you know.” She shrugged. “But your creator has offered a compelling show for us to watch. She has promised that you would deliver his head to us on a gold platter while you surrender yourself to us for our use.”
