Vessel.
Lilian.
My hands shook as I washed the blood off my body.
“Don't make me hurt you, Lily…” Daemon's voice was soft, but the harsh demeanor on his face said something different. His eyes were hard in contrast to his soft voice. “How did you leave the house unnoticed?”
“I…” My voice faltered as I shook my head, still shaking at the sight of the fresh blood that dripped down my hands.
“What. Happened. Lilian?” He gritted his teeth in irritation, his rough hands tightening around my wrist and I winced in pain.
I searched my mind to remember the details, but nothing was coming in. Nothing. Just darkness in my mind. I couldn't even find Laila in the suffocating darkness. What happened? What did I do? Did I hurt someone or was I a spectator to it?
“I'm losing my patience, Lilian!” Daemon's voice deepened and the veins on his neck popped. I could feel his anger radiating in waves as it suffocated me in the small bathtub.
I shivered and curled into myself, away from his anger
