I took a deep breath and watched Liora return to her room.
I didn't want Liora and me to go from lovers to enemies.
Staring at the flashing phone, I answered anyway.
"Ethan, my father had an accident. Could you..."
Hearing Olivia's sobbing only made my mood worse after the fight with Liora.
"No," I cut her off. "I'm not your husband, Olivia. I'm not obligated to deal with your family's problems."
