Chapter 26 Let's Not Run Into Each Other Again
Liora's POV
I heard Nathan and Kieran arguing outside, but I didn't dare say a word.
A sharp pain throbbed in my ankle. I had probably twisted it when I jumped out of the window earlier. After a while, it started to swell. So, I used my torn dress to cover it and quietly curled up in the corner of the car.
I was already deeply grateful that Nathan had let me into the car. I just hoped I hadn't caused him any trouble.
More than anything, I prayed Kieran wouldn't force me out. This area was exclusively inhabited by members of the Doyle family, so if I were made to leave the car, Ethan would undoubtedly drag me back to the villa.
But if Kieran really did make me get out, I would find somewhere to hide until my ankle felt better enough to escape on my own.
Soon, the argument outside ended, and Kieran got into the car. He then took off his jacket and tossed it over my head.
