Chapter 30 Just You Wait Liora
Ethan's POV
No matter what, I never intended to hurt Liora. When I saw her crying, my heart softened once again.
It was my fault for pushing her too hard, and I was willing to give her more time.
When I left, I waited for a long while. I thought she might call out to me, like she always used to. Back then, she could never bear to let me go, not even when I was just leaving on a business trip.
But Liora didn't call out to stop me. All I heard was the slam of the door, and I could only let out a sigh before heading back to my car.
That was when I got a call from my assistant, Kevin.
"Ethan, the healer refuses to perform the abortion on Olivia. He says her constitution is unusual—her uterine wall is too thin. If the abortion is forced, it could trigger massive bleeding and even kill her."
