Chapter 49 Zero Credibility
Liora's POV
After dropping Susan off at her home, I arrived at my own place to find someone standing at the door.
It was Ethan. He was wearing a long black coat as he leaned against the wall with a cigarette in his hand.
Like a melting iceberg, his usually cold expression softened upon seeing me. He stubbed out the cigarette and walked over with long strides.
"Lio, who did you have dinner with tonight?"
I pretended not to see him and tried to walk past, but Ethan blocked my way. When I stepped left, he mirrored my movement.
I had no choice but to stop and frown at him, displeased. "Do I need to report to you about whom I have dinner with?"
Ethan sighed, his voice low and hoarse. I wasn't sure how long he had been waiting for me.
"That's not what I meant, and I'm not trying to monitor you, Lio. I just want to be part of your life. We're husband and wife, not strangers."
I scoffed. He and Olivia were right behind us when I left the restaurant, and now, he was chasing after me
