CHAPTER 52. THE BABY IS GONE RYDER My incessant pacing did little to nothing in chilling my tensed nerves. Running my fingers through my hair, I leaned against the wall and gave a deep exhale. It's been a heck of a day, and it was beginning to take a huge toll on me. Rescuing Hara was the easier part of everything. When we got to the rogue's hideout, they were gone. But thankfully, Hara was there, tied up in chains, and her face was smeared with dirt.    Seeing her in such a pathetic state was the hardest part.
