#Chapter 51- Missing
Third Person POV
“Why don’t we go find Ethan?” Ryan asks, turning toward Fiona. Only, she’s not there anymore. She’d been there just a second ago, but when he looks around, Ryan finds no trace of the woman he’s supposed to be protecting.
A direct order from his Alpha, and he failed.
It wasn’t good for him as second in command. He was there to serve and help the Alpha, not cause problems.
His Alpha had given him the honor to protect Fiona, and now she was missing. Worry and panic rise in the Beta, tightening his chest as he looks around the stadium. She had been three feet away from him.
How did he not realize she was gone?
One second, they were watching Ethan win the game, and the next, she was missing. The crowds funneling through the doors and down to the main floor were massive, much larger than anyone thought it would be. This was a fund raiser game, but people loved their sports. It was one of their better chances at fundraising, but now, Ryan wished it wasn’t.
