I went to lunch with Ava distracted, but she still managed to cheer me up. We'd finished our food and parted ways shortly after, Ava reluctantly having to return to work and my wanting to go home. I'd texted Paula who reassured me that the men were escorted out of the building almost immediately, but I still didn't want to risk returning to the office just yet.
